Let’s Make Rustic Joy Jars

This is a Pinterest  Inspired craft today. I often get my best ideas from there and have been known to get caught up in all the wonderful pictures for many hours. Much to the dismay of the piles of laundry and dishes that get neglected. You know what they say though, “a clean house means no one lives there”.

Today I am making “Rustic” Joy Jars. A very simple, cheap and fast decoration I plan to put on my front porch for the Holiday Season. I am a huge fan of rustic decor as you know. Rustic means I can goof and get away with it.

All you need are…

  • 3 Jars of your choice
  • Burlap Ribbon or Scraps to wrap around the bottom half of jars
  • Twine or Ribbon for the small bow at the top of jars
  • Paint – Red, Green, White, Black
  • Paint Brush
  • Dauber – Optional
  • Stencils – J, Y, Snowflake – Can use stickers or permanent markers instead
  • Glue
  • Painters Tape

That is the list and below is the video tutorial……..Hope you enjoy!
