DIY Butterfly Valentine – Kid Craft

Today I thought it was time to let the kids craft. After all, some of my favorite memories are of me crafting as a child and with my children. So I have found a super simple, not very messy but still fun, kid friendly craft, that won’t break your pocket book. Everything you need you can get at just about any store for a dollar or less. This is one of those crafts you could have a party with and use them as the party favor.

Today we need . . .

  • Regular Size Clothes Pin
  • Pipe Cleaner
  • Googly Eyes – small
  • Small Plastic Sandwich or Snack bag
  • Candy – to put in bag
  • Glue
  • Paint
  • Stickers – just for fun

These would be so much fun for the kids. They could make their own valentines for their classmates, Teachers, friends and family. A lot more personal than the average boxed cards they normally pass out. Plus they get to say, they made it. I will warn you though, be sure to buy extra candy. I have only made 1 and my bag of M&M’s is half empty. Taste Testing is hard work!

Hope you enjoy … C’ya Soon!
